DESCRIPTION:WEAVING WITH SPIRIT: A BASKET MAKING WORKSHOP WITH MAVIS MULLER \nFriday\, June 26 | 1-5pm \n$80 per person/$70 per Pratt Museum Member/$100 Pay It Forward \nLimit of 10 workshop participants \nWeaving baskets from plant materials is a magical process. Led by Homer’s own award-winning\, internationally known basket artist and story weaver\, Mavis Muller. Mavis will instruct & collaborate with each student to create a unique\, one-of-a-kind woven vessel using locally gathered natural materials such as: alder\, wild grass\, and nettle. \nMaterials are provided. Mavis will share unique natural embellishments from her personal collection. \nThis workshop is outdoors and designed for adults\, older teens are welcome too!
