SUMMARY:Mushroom Sketching & Identification for Kids
DESCRIPTION:MUSHROOM SKETCHING AND IDENTIFICATION FOR KIDS WITH KIM MCNETT \nFriday\, September 5 | 1:30-3pm \n$15 per child\, $10 per Pratt Museum Member \nAward-winning naturalist\, artist\, teacher and wilderness guide\, Kim McNett\, teaches nature journaling and visual art to all ages. This workshop integrates the science of mushroom identification with journaling and sketching through personal experience and the enduring process of discovery. Workshop includes a blank journal and use of all needed supplies. \nThis workshop is outdoors and designed for independent learners ages 7-12. Please send your child with the proper gear to be prepared for any weather! Caregivers are not required to stay with children during workshop duration but may stay in a supervisory role if deemed necessary. Please remember to print the waiver/release form and bring a completed copy to the workshop (we will have additional copies available on the day of the event). \nOnline registration is required. \nIf you have any questions about registration\, please contact Whitney Harness at wharness@prattmuseum.org or call Whitney at the Museum at 907-947-5868. \n**The Pratt Musuem will be hosting ANOTHER Kid’s Mushroom Workshop on Wednesday\, September 10th at 3:30pm.
